Solution: একটি ত্রিভুজের দুটি বাহুর দৈর্ঘ্য যথাক্রমে 7 এবং 11. তৃতীয় বাহুর দৈর্ঘ্য যদি একটি পূর্ণসংখ্যা হয় তবে ত্রিভুজটির সম্ভাব্য সর্বনিম্ন (Least possible) পরিসীমা কত ? আপনি নিশ্চয়ই জানেন ত্রিভুজের যেকোনো দুই বাহুর সমষ্টি তৃতীয় বাহু অপেক্ষা বৃহত্তর এবং ত্রিভূজের যেকোনো দুই অন্তর বা বিয়োগফল তৃতীয় বাহু অপেক্ষা ক্ষুদ্রতর । অর্থাৎ দুই বাহুর অন্তর < তৃতীয় বাহু < দুই বাহুর সমষ্টি । তাহলে এক্ষেত্রে 11 - 7 < তৃতীয় বাহু < 11 + 7. অর্থাৎ 4 < তৃতীয় বাহু < 18 যেহেতু, ত্রিভুজটির Least possible perimeter বের করতে হবে এবং তৃতীয় বাহুর মান একটি Integer বা পূর্ণ সংখ্যা হবে, তাই তৃতীয় বাহুর মান হবে 5 এবং ত্রিভুজটির Least Possible Perimeter = 7 + 11 + 5 = 23.Related questions
