    প্রশ্নঃ- 5km/hএকটি বাস টার্মিনাল হতে 10 মিনিট সময় ব্যবধানে দুটি বাস 20 kmph বেগে ছেড়ে গেল ।বিপরীত দিক হতে টার্মিনালের দিকে আসা একজন লোককে প্রথম বাসটি অতিক্রমের ৪ মিনিট পর দ্বিতীয় বাস অতিক্রম করলে লোকটির বেগ কত ? উত্তরঃ- ১ম বাসটি 10 মিনিটে অতিক্রম করে =(20×10)/60= 10/3 kmph এখন , লোকটির গতিবেগ x kmph হলে ২য় বাসের আপেক্ষিক বেগ =(20+x) kmph 8 মিনিটে দ্বিতীয় বাস অতিক্রম করে =8(20+x) km প্রশ্নমতে, 8(20+x)/60 =10/3 [এই দুই দূরত্ব সমান বলে ] বা, 2(20+x)/5=10 বা,(20+x)5=5 বা,20+x=25 ∴x=5 অর্থাৎ লোকটির গতিবেগ 5kmph
