The negative form of the sentence 'He reads English only' is:
ক)
He does not Englishখ)
He reads no other subjects than Englishগ)
He never reads Englishঘ)
He reads nothing but EnglishExplanation
সঠিক উত্তর: D) He reads nothing but English এই বাক্যটি মূল বাক্যের negative form হিসেবে সঠিক কারণ: 1. এটি মূল বাক্যের অর্থকে বজায় রেখেছে, যা হল "শুধুমাত্র ইংরেজি পড়া"। 2. "Nothing but" phrase টি "only" এর সমার্থক, যা exclusive focus বোঝায়। 3. এটি একটি affirmative sentence structure ব্যবহার করে negative meaning প্রকাশ করেছে। অন্যান্য অপশনগুলো কেন সঠিক নয়: A) He does not English: - এটি grammatically incorrect। "English" এর আগে একটি verb (যেমন "read") প্রয়োজন। - এটি সম্পূর্ণ negation বোঝায়, যা মূল বাক্যের অর্থ পরিবর্তন করে। B) He reads no other subjects than English: - যদিও এটি প্রায় সঠিক, কিন্তু এটি অতিরিক্ত তথ্য যোগ করেছে ("subjects") যা মূল বাক্যে নেই। - এটি implicit comparison তৈরি করে, যা মূল বাক্যে অনুপস্থিত। C) He never reads English: - এটি মূল বাক্যের বিপরীত অর্থ প্রকাশ করে। মূল বাক্য বলছে তিনি শুধু ইংরেজি পড়েন, কিন্তু এটি বলছে তিনি কখনোই ইংরেজি পড়েন না। - "Never" ব্যবহার করে time aspect যোগ করা হয়েছে, যা মূল বাক্যে নেই। only থাকলে Negative করার নিয়ম- • only-(ব্যক্তিবাচক থাকলে)-Only Rahim can do this- None but Rahim can do this • only-(বস্তবাচক থাকলে)-I need a book only- I need nothing but a book • only-(সংখ্যাবাচক থাকলে)-I need only one thousand taka- I need not less than one thousand taka.Related questions
