আমরা জানি ,সুষম বহুভুজের ক্ষেত্রে অন্তস্থ কোণ গুলোর সমষ্টি =(n-2)× 180⁰ যেখানে n হল ভুজের বা বাহুর সংখ্যা । আবার ,সমান্তর ধারার ক্ষেত্রে n তম পদের সমষ্টি S=n/2 {2a+(n-1)d} =n/2 {2× 120⁰+(n-1)5⁰ =n/2{240⁰+(n-1)5⁰ শর্তমতে , (n-2)× 180⁰=n/2{240⁰+n-1)5⁰ বা, 180n-360=n/2{240+5n-5} বা , 160n-720=n{235+5n} বা , 360n-720=235n+5n² বা, 5n²+235n-360n+720=0 বা, 5n²-125n+720=0 বা, n²-25n+144=0 বা, n²- 16n-9n+144=0 বা , (n-16)-9(n-16)=0 ∴n=9,16 কিন্তু n=16 সম্ভব নয় ,কারণ a₁₆ =a+(n-1)d =120⁰+(16-1)5⁰ =120⁰+15×15⁰ = 120⁰ +75⁰ =195⁰ যা 180⁰ থেকে বড় । এজন্য n=১৬ গ্রহণযোগ্য নয় ∴ বহুভুজের সংখ্যা =9 টিRelated questions
